Why have you chosen this photo as your YSJ snapshot?

I’m proud of my professional and academic journey in healthcare and leadership. It’s been a rewarding experience and a path that brought me to a place where I know my work makes a difference.

What are your fondest memories of York St John University?

I loved my experience at York St John University, as a graduate student, I wanted to be a part of a global academic consortium. My colleagues in the program were from all around the world representing many different career paths. It was an excellent opportunity to expand my thinking globally and learn from new perspectives. I’ve never stopped learning, and this was an exceptional program and university to proudly experience.

Why did you choose York St John University or founder colleges?

I chose York St John University for the style of learning through on-line and group studies. The content was relatable to my career journey, and the curriculum looked inspiring and challenging. I was looking for a global program so I could come out of my own cultural biases and learn from colleagues and classmates as well as all the amazing professors

What have you been doing since completing your studies?

After earning my MBA I was hired into an executive director role with Tufts Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. My experience and education align with my work at a large tertiary academic hospital. Recently, I was promoted to a system level Vice President for Imaging/Radiology and still remain Executive Director at Tufts Medical Center for the Radiology and Pathology Faculty Practices. My career is challenging and exciting and makes a difference in the lives of those I lead and patients we care for here.

Why did you choose your specific course?

I chose my MBA in Leadership and Management because my career in healthcare leadership really required this next step in academia to advance to the executive level I wanted to achieve

What were the best features of your course?

I really enjoyed all the great students in my program. Many of us still keep in touch and follow each other on LinkedIn. The content learned was relevant to my work and the professors were knowledgeable and made learning engaging.

What one piece of advice would you give to a current student, or one about to graduate?

Always keep learning. Take what you learn and share with others. Knowledge holds power and you are on an exceptional journey – enjoy it!
