It was a beautiful memory picture during my placement year at Fresh tree care company. I had an amazing time during placement and I met people with whom I still relate with. I had the opportunity to learn from colleagues and I was able to use the skills I learnt at York St. John to bring about change within the organisation. I must say that the changes brought calmness within the team I aas working with and that made me fulfilled. I had a fabulous time during placement.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING SINCE COMPLETING YOUR STUDIES?
I have been working since I completed my course as a support worker. I desire to work in the preferred role of the course of study and I have been putting in applications. While I hope to switch role, I am determined to continue to put in my best in what I am doing now which has enabled me to engage in investment for the future.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR SPECIFIC COURSE?
I chose the course I studied because I wanted to input my quota in the health industry the beat way I can and impact the community I eventually would work in at any point in time.
WHAT WERE THE BEST FEATURES OF YOUR COURSE?
The interactive sessions, group assignments and presentations. These boost my confidence and developed my team player skills, presentation skills, and improved my IT skills.
HOW DID STUDYING AT YSJ HELP IN YOUR CAREER SEARCH/SUCCESS/CURRENT ROLE?
It helped to shape my goals and aspirations. It also helped to raise concerns where necessary in a positive manner.
WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A CURRENT STUDENT, OR ONE ABOUT TO GRADUATE?
Put in your best in all that you do. Do not procrastinate and maximise the opportunity you have with your lecturers in supporting you through your assignments. Take one day at a time and take a break when you need it.
