Inspiration is a mind mapping tool which allows you to create mind maps using text, images, colours and shapes.

Inspiration also gives you the ability to colour code points on your mind map, making it easier to read and retain information.

This mind mapping tool gives students the ability to explore any idea, explanation or problem, make notes and plan tasks, organise ideas and concepts and also link ideas with each other.

Mind maps are often created on paper, but using Inspiration on the computer means that you can edit your mind maps as much as you like.

Mind maps are great for group work, planning assignments or presentations, creating revision material, staying organised, and so much more.

With Inspiration, you can print off a copy of your mind map and also keep an electronic copy if you need to edit it later.

You can also transfer mind maps that you make using Inspiration to Microsoft Word should you wish, meaning that others can read your mind map who may not have Inspiration themselves.
