Indeed is the first search on Google when it comes to job searches and for good reason to! Indeed is excellent for locating jobs in certain areas. You can subscribe to their emailing service so they can alert you when a recommended job pops up so you never have to miss an opportunity. You can also make a profile where you can save your CV so it’s even easier for the next time you apply to a job.
Prospects
An oldie but a goldie. Prospects is the ultimate website for students and graduates. On here you can find quizzes to match your preferences and job profiles to find out more information about your dream job. Prospects also posts lots of jobs on its page, as well as internships, volunteering opportunities and working abroad, plus information on postgraduate study too. So it’s a great little tool to bookmark!
Monster
Monster is another website like Indeed where there are hundreds of jobs to apply for all across the UK. They also have handy pages such as Careers Advise and surveys to help you find your perfect job!
Joblift
Joblift is a job platform where jobs from most separate online job board sites, such as Milkround, Guardian jobs, and TotalJobs, are displayed! Very handy! This helps students, graduates and anyone else looking for work find jobs in one place without trawling the internet for ages. If you’re not able to check the website on the daily, you can subscribe to the job alert. You will be sent the latest job offers that meet your specific criteria via your chosen email.
Yorkshire Graduates
Clue is in the name really, but this is a site for graduates wanting to stay in the Yorkshire area. Jobs are split into their designated sector so you can explore what kinds of jobs you can do if you’re interested in a certain industry. There’s an advice page where you can find tips and tricks of the employment world, and there’s also a ‘Love Yorkshire’ page, just in case you needed reminding.
The Graduate Recruitment Bureau
They are a company who specialize in placing graduates in jobs, internships and graduate schemes. Their employers include the Time Top 100 Employers, such as Dyson, BMV and Google. They also offer career help on their webpage, where you can find tailored advice for graduate CVs, cover letters and interviews. You can even apply to work at the Graduate Recruitment Bureau if you’re looking for work experience in marketing and recruitment.

It’s not a job site, but it’s a great place to find information and advice surrounding student life. Going with the employment theme, Save the Student can help you perfect your CV, find out how to sort your tax codes, how to make money on Etsy.
