About Curiositas

Mission Statement

Curiositas is the new Postgraduate Researcher Journal for the School of Humanities at York St John University. We publish one issue per year, in May. The journal is Open Access, and all articles are subject to peer review. It aims to showcase the breadth and depth of humanities-based research, creativity, and methodological experimentation, thereby allowing Postgraduate Researchers to share their work, develop publishing and editorial experience, and foster interdisciplinary dialogue across our varied fields. It will support the development of a vibrant, student-led academic culture, provide a platform for emerging scholars to publish original work in a supportive environment, encourage cross-disciplinary approaches to contemporary questions and debates, and facilitate the development of peer review, editorial, and collaborative skills.
