If you submit an Academic Paper or an Academic Collaboration, it will be peer-reviewed. Peer review is essential to academic practice because it ensures the quality, credibility, and integrity of research. It allows work to be assessed by others with relevant expertise who can strengthen arguments, clarify methodologies, and identify gaps that the author may not have seen. Curiositas has opted for the double-blind method, which means that two individuals will review your submission, but they will not know the author’s identity, nor the identity of the other reviewer. This ensures a fair and unbiased process.
We are currently on the lookout for more PGRs to join our pool of peer reviewers, to be called upon when a paper is submitted for review. This is a valuable opportunity to develop reviewing skills, gain insight into the publishing process, and contribute to the strength of our postgraduate research community. Although this may seem like a daunting task at first, full support will be provided and we can assure you that the process is very straightforward. You will be given plenty of time to read through the paper and offer feedback and are free to pick and choose which papers you feel capable of reviewing.
If you are interested in joining the peer reviewer pool, please email us a short paragraph about yourself and your research interests.
