Would you like to help us share and celebrate the teaching practices we deliver on the Literature programme at York St John University? In today’s post, English Literature Subject Director Anne-Marie Evans explains how you can get involved!
We would love you to get involved in helping York St John University prepare to enter the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) assessment process in 2020.
We have recently launched our call for information entitled ‘Going for Gold: Be part of our narrative’ and now are asking all students and staff to get involved.
We would like to hear from you as to what you find valuable about studying here at York St John, helping us to ensure that your experience is successful, as well as informing what we prioritise for incoming students in the future.
The key questions we would like to ask you are:
- What the key strengths of York St John University?
- What are the core strengths of English Literature?
- What has contributed most to your success?
- What would you like to see introduced that could make a difference to your success at York St John?
There are different ways you can get involved, and students from all across the University are being invited to share their views.

You can attend a dialogue event – we have scheduled two lunchtime events for students and staff to come and join the conversation with others. Please feel free to bring your lunch.

You can drop by the stand in Holgate reception – we are planning a stand in Holgate reception on 11th April, which will run from 11 am until 2.30 pm. Please drop by and join the conversation.
