York St John University Creative Fellows return to York St John to talk about their work performing in Shakespeare’s plays.
Pippa Nixon and Alex Waldmann discuss how they approach performing Shakespeare’s text, as well as demonstrating how performance can bring Shakespeare’s language alive.
Some of the plays we will discuss are Hamlet, As You Like It, Julius Caesar, and Duchess of Malfi, as well as gender blind/swap casting.
