Depending on how many years’ experience you have teaching and/or supporting learning within a Higher Education context, we offer two distinctive pathways that are designed to support you to gain the appropriate category of recognition.
The Experiential Pathway (ExP) is designed to support colleagues with more than two years’ experience of teaching and supporting learning within a HE context, to make a retrospective claim for Fellowship at one of the following levels:
- Associate (D1)
- Fellow (D2)
- Senior Fellow (D3)
This pathway is designed for experienced colleagues and typically takes 3-6 months to complete.
The Developmental Pathway (DevP) is designed to support colleagues with fewer than two years’ experience of teaching and supporting learning within a HE context. Via this pathway, we offer a structured approach to supporting professional recognition, which takes place over 12-18 months. The categories of recognition supported by the DevP are:
- Associate (D1)
- Fellow (D2)
This pathway is specifically designed for colleagues who are new to teaching in HE and typically takes place over 12-18 months.
