Friends (and frogs)

I often find myself stuck for words. When it comes to the point of actually meeting a person, I find that I’ve held so many conversations in my head that I’ve ran out of words to say before I’ve reached “hello”.

Meeting new people can certainly be difficult. I haven’t done it much lately.

I’m very forgetful. It can often feel like the first time we’ve met, when in reality we’ve been introduced before. That’s not any fault of yours, of course.

I suppose that by forgetting who people are the first time, I’ve made twice as many friends.

I know quite a lot about myself. When you ask about me, I hope whatever I say is the interesting stuff. My good hobbies, like art, and not my bad hobbies, like collecting used cups in my bedroom.

The way frogs sort of plap their hands on their head when you pour water on them makes me happy.
