Using an iPad application called – “Explain a Website”

If you have been following Wilson Waffling for a while, you will be aware that I frequently use the ipad application called Explain Everything . This is what I used to record the videos on Roman Numerals and the Counter/Coin puzzle. The company has now produced a new app called Explain a Website. This is simple enough for the children and tutors to use and will be a welcome addition which compliments Explain Everything. Children will be able to analyse and evaluate websites as well as identifying key features such as hyperlinks. It will also allow them, and adults, to create instructional videos to navigate and use websites such as the school’s VLE. It is cheap at £0.69 and is easy to use. It would make a good starting point before moving onto more expensive and/or complex screen-casting software.
