The Inclusive Higher Education Framework was developed and launched in 2023 as an output from a QAA Collaborative Enhancement Project.
As one of the primary project partners, York St John University subsequently adopted the framework (Education Committee, 2023) as a means through which to develop a culture of inclusivity within our university practices.
This long-term cultural change project is NOT about asking colleagues to do more. It is about providing a framework that:
- helps us to proactively think about good inclusive practice at the points of project inception and design
- articulate the already excellent work taking place across the institution.
This toolkit is designed to:
- offer practical examples of how the Framework is being used across the university, to enhance inclusivity by design
- provide access to tools and resources you can use in your own practice.
