York St John’s Inclusive Neurodiverse Campuses Lab (INC Lab) is an interdisciplinary network of staff, students and community members, all in a shared place solving shared problems. Together we aim to design neurodiversity-affirming practices that benefit everybody. INC Lab has a commitment to developing a series of interconnected, real-world projects for students and staff to make use of. We organise ourselves around shared questions that are almost impossible to answer at the outset and we ask our community to respond across different disciplines.
Based in the Institute for Social Justice, INC Lab seeks to make real changes on campus by engaging staff and students in action learning. We use INC Lab as a methodology for solving problems that arise from inflexible ways of being and doing in many places.
