JISC TechDis Ambassadors

jisc_techdis_logo_2012What is it?

A TechDis Ambassador is someone with a disability who shares and celebrates their use of technology in learning or work.

Technology can play a crucial role in helping people with diverse needs to live, learn and work independently.

Call for individual stories

Anyone 16 or over is invited to send in their individual stories. Tell them who you are, what technology you use, what it does and how it helps you.

These personal stories may be submitted as a short video, an audio file or a written document. Each Ambassador will receive an official letter and certificate from TechDis. More importantly, their story will be published on the Jisc TechDis blog.

Examples

In the compilation video below you will hear directly from a number of TechDis Ambassadors as they explain how they use technology to live and learn.

Visit the blog to see more compilation videos and also some examples of individual Ambassador stories.

How are you using technology for independence and/or productivity?
