ARFIS is the Academic Reading Format International Study to explore the reading preferences of students. It has taken place in 25 countries and the UK survey is running from 18th February until 31st March 2016.

We will be able to see our institutional results (please enter ‘York St John University’ for question 18) – and we would love to hear what our students think, here at YSJ. Is paper preferred for reading, or electronic? Is this all of the time or only in certain circumstances? Knowing this will help us to meet information needs better in the future.

You can access the survey at this survey link. The survey is completely anonymous and no information provided can be traced back to individuals.

Don’t forget, the Academic Services Team provides support, teaching and training to undergraduates in information and digital literacy and in how to get the most from the library resources. Visit the ILS website or contact ILS@yorksj.ac.uk for more details.
