Learn with Lynda – Learning Snapchat

Continuing with the social theme from the last Learn with Lynda, this month we are showcasing Learning Snapchat, a short course of 23 min 21 secs by Anson Alexander. This course is for beginners and no previous knowledge is needed.

Learn how to set up and use Snapchat, the popular and supposedly confidential video-messaging platform that deletes messages after they are shared. Anson Alexander shows how to set up an account, record new photos and videos and chat with friends, as well helping new users understand critical privacy settings and whether “snaps” really disappear for good after viewing.

Suzy Mills

Working to the Directorate’s annual objectives and the TEL Quality Framework, Suzy’s role as TEL Assistant is to proactively support and develop staff in using technology to enhance the students learning experience. Her main focus will be the day to day management and administration of the VLE and other learning technologies. Suzy joins the TEL team from the School Administration Unit, where she worked as a School Administrator for five years. Suzy is interested in developing her knowledge of how learning technologies can be used in Higher Education and exploring the use of Open Badges.
