On May 13th 2024 Dr Sam Reese was in conversation with Dr JT Welsch to celebrate the launch of his new publication, the Notebooks of Sonny Rollins. (York St John University).

York Literature Festival 2024
This year’s event was held at The Crescent York. The day opened with the launch of Venue Stories; Fraser Mann and Robert Edgar were interviewed by festival director Rob O’Connor before contributors to the collection read from their work.
This was followed by Miki Berenyi, in conversation with Fraser Mann about her memoir, Fingers Crossed.
York Literature Festival 2023
This year’s event was held at The Crescent York. Amy McCarthy interviewed Lucy O’Brien about the publication of Lead Sister: The Life of Karen Carpenter. This was followed by Lucy interviewing PP Arnold about her memoir, Soul Survivor.
York Literature Festival 2022
The first music memoir event in collaboration with York Literature Festival was held at The Fulford Arms, York. Amy McCarthy interviewed Lucy Nichol about her novel, The Twenty-Seven Club.
