This year’s student symposium 2018 was launched by mix engineer and researcher Gary Bromham (George Michael, Andrew Ridgeley, Bjork, Kylie Minogue and others). Gary’s research discussed the authentic and the new in respects of both music production and the equipment we use to make music. Replicated, imitated equipment is big business. Is it important, is it the future? These isssues underpinned Gary’s discussion.
The symposium finished with a question and answer style plenary with Gary, chaired by Chris Readman, a 3rd year BA student.
3rd year BA and MA Students delivered a paper on their final dissertation research.
