Essex soloist Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly was joined in Abbey Road with his band to perform the unreleased track ‘Ebb’. The drum and bass inspired song had an amazing energy and it was a joy to watch engineer Paul Pritchard capture the performance.
A 23 piece choir of chaps from London, aptly named Chaps Choir, performed with Australian born solo act, The Magic Lantern. His somber yet optimistic song, Air at the Top, adheres to his musical mission statement of ‘remedying the anxiety and fear present in everyone’.
The choir then sang with Northern Irish artist Pat Dam Smyth to deliver a powerful piece with an climax as emotional as it was satisfying.
Max Black – “it’s really an experience that reminds you of why you do what you do. Seeing the professionals, artists and engineers alike, is absolutely refreshing and inspiring.”
David Calvy – “Being able to have an experience of a lifetime, working and recording at Abbey Road Studio, is brilliant. And seeing how it’s done by the professionals is both refreshing and inspiring.”
