Specialist facilities in the School of Education, Language and Psychology
As a Psychology student you will have access to our dedicated labs where you can research and collect data.
The labs contain:
- EEG equipment for recording electrical activity in the brain
- Eye trackers, for monitoring gaze patterns
- Virtual reality (VR) equipment
- Wall and ceiling-mounted cameras
- A large collection of psychometric tests and questionnaires.

All Languages and Linguistics students can use the Linguistics lab to study. You are likely to have seminars there too. If you study British Sign Language, Japanese or Korean, you will also have use of the Languages Workshop.
