Please be aware that the university hosts an on-campus GP surgery. As well as doctors’ surgeries, practice nurses hold a daily clinic offering a range of services. It is really important that students from outside York register with the Health Centre upon arrival so that the doctor has up to date medical records. The on campus surgery is part of the wider York Medical Group and students can access medical care at their Monkgate surgery, which is a couple of minutes off campus. The on campus surgery is not open at the weekend but slots specifically for York St John University students are available on Saturday mornings.
