For my pledge I have committed to drink 1.5 litres of water per day. Prior to the first lockdown I think I was managing to do this, but once lockdown arrived I noticed I was hardly drinking any water, even though I was working about 10 steps away from my kitchen sink.
I’ve noticed that since I’ve not been drinking enough water I haven’t felt as alert as usual (though I probably also need a sleep related pledge) and I’ve felt thirsty, not realising until bed time that I really need a drink. My skin feels tight and looks dehydrated (which no amount of cream has fixed)
Yesterday was the first day in a long time that I’ve drunk enough water and I felt so much better for it.
