To celebrate Black History Month, we have curated a selection of books and DVDs encompassing diverse stories from Black history. Spanning fiction, history, criticism, poetry and memoir, the books reflect this year’s theme ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’. This foregrounds Black identity, resilience and creativity from across the Diaspora, to build shared understanding and move towards greater social justice.

We’ll continue to update the display throughout the month, so keep an eye out for new titles. If you’d like to borrow any of the resources, please bring them to the Information Desk.
