The Bookmark Competition Results – Congratulations to Annabel and Ellie!

We are delighted to announce the winners of our Library Bookmark Competition:

ANNABEL WHITE (BA Fine Art) – 1st Place
ELLIE WIDDOP (BA Fine Art) – 2nd Place

The public vote ran for 10 days, from 11 to 22 May, and 351 people took part across our York and London campuses.

Annabel’s design was imaginative and absolutely adorable. Every detail delighted us and invites readers to find the pleasure of reading. Her design received 135 votes, which is a fantastic achievement.

Ellie’s bold, vibrant artwork and excellent composition really impressed us. Her design perfectly captured a moment in our university library and received a very strong 88 votes from the voters.

 

 

 

 

We are also pleased to confirm that the other three finalists’ designs received a significant number of voters chose our runners up as their favourite design. This is a tremendous achievement, and all finalists should be proud of their work.

We would like to thank everyone who submitted designs, participated in the public vote and survey, and helped spread the word. Without your support and contributions, the competition would not have been such a success.

Annabel and Ellie’s artworks are now on display in the library, and we are currently producing our official bookmarks featuring Annabel’s winning design. Please pop in and take a look to celebrate their fantastic achievement!
