Critical Research Conference
July 25, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday 25th July, 9am to 5pm, in the Creative Centre
York St John University’s second annual Critical Research PGR conference aims to bring together a range pf PGRs engaged in critical research and will be held on the 25th of July 2023 at The Creative Centre, York Campus. We are delighted to be able to host this event for a second year, and hope the conference will provide a welcoming and respectful space for PGRs to present their critical work.
We welcome submissions for papers from all PGRs who are engaged in critical research. Critical research can include feminist, queer, Marxist, postcolonial, de-colonial, anti-racist, anti-ableist, social justice, environmentalist, and many other strands of research topics and methods. This is not a fixed definition of critical research, and we also invite challenges to this. We welcome papers across any area of critical research, focusing on completed, ongoing, or prospective projects.
If you would like to present at our conference, please submit your abstract here: https://forms.gle/YQujvnd9XJb9QMPv8 . Please note that submissions close on the 20th of June at 5pm.
We have limited spaces for attendees. If you would like to attend our conference, please register your interest here: https://forms.gle/Z5AbbtHYqd1gAt9i9
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your topic suitability please get in contact with the conference organiser Isobel at i.clare@yorksj.ac.uk . I’d love to hear from you!
