Thriving in part time doctoral study: creating the conditions for success

In this one-hour workshop based on the new book Thriving in Part-time doctoral study: Integrating work, life and study, co-authored by Dr Jon Rainford and Dr Kay Guccione, participants will get a chance to start to consider some of the factors which enable them to not only survive as a part-time doctoral student, but to thrive in this mode of study. Whatever stage you are currently at, you will get a chance to think about all the different elements that contribute to success, from planning your journey to thinking about who is there to support you and how best to make use of that support. The workshop will help you consider where you are on your journey through and beyond the doctorate, and learn how to build a support village to help you on your way.
