Why have you chosen this photo as your YSJ snapshot?

It is a picture of me in my gown at graduation, a day that was a struggle to get to as it was after my brain injury. But with the help of the excellent lecturers in the theology block, I actually came.

What are your fondest memories of York St John University?

The friendly atmosphere on campus and the wonderful, helpful lecturers.

Why did you choose York St John University or founder colleges?

I have lived in York most of my life and have always been aware that York St John is a good university.

What have you been doing since completing your studies?

Despite having a degree, the brain injury and my metal hip were always present and I worked in the care sector as a care assistant and a community carer, my degree helped me often in my interactions with the elderly generation.

What one piece of advice would you give to a current student, or one about to graduate?

While studying the staff will help you with your problems.
