This was a very special day for me. A long journey which my time at YSJ was part of.
What are your fondest memories of York St John University?
The city and the Minster.
Why did you choose York St John University or founder colleges?
The city and it was one of the many places that really welcomed and encouraged joint honours.
What have you been doing since completing your studies?
Returned home to Manchester.
Worked at Manchester Diocese in Education for 8 years before leaving to go to The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham for further study.
Was ordained a Deacon July 2023 with the hope of being Ordained a Priest next year.
What one piece of advice would you give to a current student, or one about to graduate?
Don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do when you leave. Took me 10 years to really decide, you’ll get there.
