Last few weeks at York St John? here’s some top tips
Now we’re into our final term of the 2017/18 academic year, we asked our alumni community what advice they would give to final year students enjoying their last few weeks as a student at York St John University. Here’s their top five pieces of advice:
Five
Sleep whenever you get the chance because between deadlines, social events and work, it’ll be a miracle if you get a solid 8 hours!
Four
Go to those events; attend the balls, the dinners and sports games, because when you leave you will wish you had joined in more.
Three
Enjoy the last few weeks at York St John and ensure you make memories you will never forget, look to the future knowing you have been educated by a great establishment.
Two
If you haven’t already, start preparing your life after university – that’s when I found was the most difficult time for me. Good luck and enjoy yourself!
One
Savour York. Walk round the walls one more time, down beautiful roads, drinking in the sights as someone who LIVES in York, consciously taking it all in so that your memories become long term ones. You may never live in such a beautiful city again! It’s amazing revisiting but there is a PINCH ME – I GET TO LIVE HERE feeling that is worth remembering!
Thank you to everyone who sent through their advice for current students!
