Nine Academic Schools

A great deal has changed  since York St John first opened it’s doors in May 1841, as well as continuing to offer excellent teacher training provision through our School of Education, York St John University now also offers programmes through our School of Art, Design & Computer Science, School of Health Sciences, School of Humanities, Religion and Philosophy, School of Languages & Linguistics, School of Performance & Media Production, School of Psychological & Social Sciences, School of Sport, and York Business School, a total of nine different academic schools.

Did you know, The University now offers more than 130 different programmes of study, with more than current 6,000 students.
