1967 ! I can’t argue with Satisfaction and ,Jaggerism ‘ became a way of life ! At 75 I still bop around to Mick and the Stones (embarrassing my family ! ) It’s great that The Stones ( Mick ,Keith and Charlie are all older than I ) are still packing stadiums . There is a long held saying ,
    ‘When Mick Jagger grows up
    We all grow old ‘
Fortunately that hasn’t happened yet ! Take heart ! The Baby Boomers are still ruling OK !

I am looking for Jennifer Siswick nee Hesketh. We were friends when we lived at Staining Road End outside of Blackpool. We rode our bikes together, danced together and went to Blackpool to compete with our song and dance routines, sometimes we won. I left to go to live in Canada and was looking at my old address book and came across Jennifer’s address in Leeds. If anyone knows her please contact me or Jennifer herself. I know it’s been a very long time, we are a lot older now of course. Maybe I’m just a little nostalgic.

      Thanks
      Chris

        WOW ! What a surprise !
I’m just heading off to a meeting but will write later .I certainly remember singing, dancing bike riding etc.
What an incredible vehicle ‘the web ‘ is. A flood of water has passed under the bridge .I’m wrinkled, crinkled (entirely un Botoxed ! ) but I’ve had an interesting life .

Yep, I was there 72 to 75, Maggie May was the song in the Wilkie, singing our hearts out with a pint of Feds.

  4. Keith Richardson says:

Cannot argue with 1973 choice of Maggie May 👍
