Academic Induction London

Taking place on 30-31 May 2023 at the London campus, this two-day in-person induction event is designed for all new academic colleagues, professional services staff and postgraduate students who intend to teach and/or support learning at York St John University London. 

Attendance is recommended for all new teaching and learning support staff (including PSS), and is a mandatory aspect of induction for: 

1. Academic Associates 
2. New academic staff with fewer than two years’ experience 
3. PGR students who wish to be added to the Teaching and Learning (T&L)Register (i.e. be eligible to support undergraduate learning through teaching-related activities) 

The event will include a full programme of talks, sessions and workshops facilitated by colleagues with significant teaching and learning responsibilities at YSJU, who will introduce new members of staff to the key strategic priorities, pedagogical approaches and T&L-related processes at York St John. 

The schedule for both days will be confirmed closer to the time.
