AdvanceHE: Assessment and Feedback Symposium

Assessment and feedback are key issues for the higher education sector in the UK and internationally, needing regular review – a point underlined by the tumultuous events which have affected the world in 2020.
This AdvanceHE symposium will focus on the connected areas of marking practices and feedback processes. It will offer insights and solutions for the enhancement of marking and feedback practices within departmental and institutional contexts.
Drawing on research, evidence-informed practice, frameworks, recent developments principles and practices, and based upon stimulus presentations and case studies, the symposium will provide attendees with a space in which they can exchange and disseminate new and different ways of thinking about assessment and feedback.
