Professional Development for Learning, Teaching and Research
Led by Drs Michael and Christine O’Dea, this interactive session will provide an overview of ChatGPT, some of the common techniques for working with it, and techniques and tools for identifying output generated by it and other similar Generative AI applications. Its limitations and affordances for teaching and learning will be considered, and potential strategies for addressing the use of the technology within learning, teaching and assessment will be presented. It will be very much a hands-on session, utilising many examples to familiarise delegates with the technology.
The session will take place in person, on campus, with a hybrid option for colleagues who would prefer to join the workshop remotely via MS Teams.
To book your place at this session, please complete a copy of our CPD booking form. Please indicate on the form if you intend to join the session online.
