May 19, 2022

**This conference takes place in central London and may therefore be of particular interest to colleagues at our London campus**

The Commonwealth Education Conference 2022 will aim to address some of the key challenges facing higher education today, including:

  • How to build a national Higher Education system in the 21st century?
  • What is our vision for a post-Covid realignment of education?
  • How do we expand access and improve student experiences at the same time?
  • Using micro-incentives to reward achievement
  • Going beyond branch campuses
  • Who’s afraid of rankings?
  • Do policymakers now understand tech?

You’ll hear from thought leaders including:

  • Priyank Kharge, Former Minister for IT and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka (India)
  • Dr Manish Malhotra, Founder and Chairman, ATMC (Australia)
  • Anurag Behar, CEO, Azim Premji Foundation (India)
  • Professor Peter Francis, Deputy-Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Birmingham City University (UK)

And many more to be announced…

The Commonwealth Education Conference is being held in partnership with leading investor in UK education, ATMC, and will have a broad Commonwealth focus.

A key component of UK-Commonwealth collaborations is the education sector. This event will bring together leading innovators from the world of higher and further education, edtechs and others. Participants will be attending from the UK, India, Australia, New Zealand, and more widely.

Covid has changed everything, from student experiences to business models. But education is not standing still. As the new world is reshaped by new pressures, our unique forum brings together innovators from across disciplines to collaborate on how to set the pace, and keep apace, with changes in education.

There will therefore be a particular focus on the concept of a Digital Commonwealth, where collaborations across borders are made easier today in a post-pandemic world.
