February 5 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

We are pleased to have Dr Chahna Gonsalves (King’s College London) come and speak to us about creating rubrics from our refreshed GADs. Dr Gonsalves has published several papers on the value and importance of rubrics and is an editor of Improving Learning Through Assessment Rubrics: Student Awareness of What and How They Learn , and as such is quickly being a recognised name associated with rubrics. She’ll be sharing her insights in designing rubrics, using rubrics to learn, and using compassionate and supportive language to construct rubric descriptors.

This workshop will be working with the refreshed GADs and is aimed at the early adopters of this GAD, School and programme leads and others who are broadly responsible for managing teams who will be designing Assessment Marking Criteria/rubrics using the refreshed GAD in the new academic year. This will be an excellent opportunity to familiarise yourself with the refreshed GADs before they come into full effect in Semester One 2024-25.

You can book through Bookingshttps://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/TeachingandLearningEnhancementTeam@yorksj.ac.uk/bookings/
