Session Facilitator: Associate Professor David Hill 

This is a session about building moral encounters with participants into qualitative research. We will think about how to theorise responsibly; how to design and conduct data collection with human participants that foregrounds authentic and meaningful encounters; and how to present findings in ways that do justice to the contributions of those we talk with.

1. To develop responsible research design, conduct and presentation
2. To encounter, recognise and represent research participants morally
