Session Overview:
This session will explain the guidance of the Research Excellence Framework 2021 in terms of the code of practice and its importance, research publications, impact, research environment and research income. It will also cover initial discussions about the next framework. The session may be a pre-recorded presentation followed by live Q&As.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understanding of the institutional and school-level planning required for a research assessment.
- Explanation of the regulatory terminology used by Research England as well as what each section of the REF means.
