Session Overview:
In this session we will explore methodological considerations, addressing the role of the researcher, data representation, and the ethical considerations necessary when conducting research with vulnerable groups. I will give examples from my own research and share some of the challenges and insights form my experience of conducting research within vulnerable group populations.
Learning Outcomes:
- Be able to identify some theoretical perspectives on the benefits and challenges ages of conducting research with vulnerable groups.
- Explore their understanding of relevant research methodologies, techniques and their appropriate application within their own research areas.
