YSJ, Academic Development Programme
Professional Development for Learning, Teaching and Research
Following the University’s successful Athena SWAN Bronze Award earlier this year, one of the University’s Athena SWAN actions is focused on supporting female academic colleagues with their promotion aspirations. In particular, our data shows that fewer women are advancing through Associate Professor or Professor via the Research Pathway and the University is committed to addressing this.
As the next promotion round is fast approaching, the Head of Teaching and Learning Enhancement has organised an open, discursive session for women who want to apply for Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor. It will include an overview of the process, key things to focus on (e.g., relevant evidence to support applications, etc.) and contributions from newly promoted colleagues based on their experience.
Date: Monday 23rd January 2023
Time: 12:00 – 13:00pm
