RIPPLE – Research Into Professional Practice in Learning and Education
We are excited to be launching the RIPPLE series of breakfast meetings 2022-23, with the first meeting taking place in person on Thursday 15th September, 09:30–10:30am in DG/123 (tea and coffee provided).
RIPPLE (Research Into Professional Practice in Learning and Education) was founded as a network of professionals interested in research as a form of critical engagement with our practice, including its subject-content, pedagogical and policy dimensions. It has evolved to become a thriving community of practice where both academic and professional services colleagues can share best practice and research that is taking place across our YSJ community relating to a wide range of issues that impact student and staff experience. For 2022-23, RIPPLE will be co-convened by Dr Emma Walker (Associate Head: School of Education, Language & Psychology) and Dr Katherine Cross (Study Development Tutor: Library & Learning Services).
