The relevance of reflexivity to different research paradigms is discussed, followed by an explanation of reflexivity as a dialectic process. Five variants of reflexivity will be identified. This session will be divided into 3 sections. In the first third, Joan will provide a brief introduction, followed by a pre-recorded narrated PowerPoint (20 mins). When the PowerPoint is finished, participants will be divided into breakout rooms, to discuss the presentation, based on questions included on the last slide.
