Inclusive Education Workshop – QAA Collaborative Enhancement Project
What does inclusive education mean? How can we design more inclusive universities and degree programmes? How can individuals and institutions make a difference to inclusivity on the ground?
This two-hour interactive in-person workshop will be delivered by Dr Katharine Hubbard and Paula Gawthorpe, both Senior Fellows of the University of Hull Teaching Excellence Academy. Katharine and Paula developed their institutional Inclusive Education Framework to support university-wide delivery of the Education Strategy and Access and Participation Plan.
The workshop will introduce the framework as a tool to understand the breadth and depth of inclusive practice, and help individuals to identify existing good practice and targets for action. It will be an interactive session with opportunities for discussion, and will direct participants to useful resources they can take away.
