Introducing Terra Two

Scientists discovered a new planet called Terra Two, it shares a similar structure to Earth and so a mission to colonise Terra Two begun.

Comparing the two planets shows that Terra Two is going through a carboniferous stage, just like Earth did over 300 million years ago. The atmosphere has high levels of oxygen, the temperature is always warm and humid but everything looks so big?

From the insects that have been found on Terra Two, to the plants themselves, everything here seems to tower over any human.

Introducing Aleks, a young, human, farmer’s son who calls Terra Two his home, 200 years after the first colony appeared. He has a fascination with all things creepy crawly and spends a lot of his free time exploring the wilderness to find giant new species.

Evaluation

I am pretty happy with the final images, if I were to redo this project I would maybe think about the story side of things and create illustrations focused on the narrative. I have improved a lot of skills with this project both technical and physical but there’s still a lot to work on. Terra Two was a fun project to be involved in, the freedom of this project threw me a little at first but I think I managed.
