Sitting in the darkness, surrounded by fake screams, I can’t help but think, is this show really too scary for over 60s? York Dungeons’ show, Hide and Shriek, promised a terrifying night filled with panic and claustrophobia but instead delivered a surprisingly funny show about an awful and unknown history.
