‘Enhancing the student experience through flexible learning solutions’ #HYeLC14

Thursday 5th June 2014, York St John University

The Annual Higher York e-learning conference aims to showcase best practice in the use of learning technologies which enhance teaching and learning. The focus is on sharing practical approaches that have proven to be effective in enhancing the student learning experience. This free one-day conference is provided by the Higher York e-Learning Network (a collaborative group of practitioners from Askham Bryan College, the University of York, York College, York St John University and other higher education providers in the area).

Call for contributions

The call for contributions is now open. The deadline for receipt of proposals is 3 April 2014.

Conference bookings

Conference bookings are now open. The booking deadline is 23 May 2014.

Daniel Mackley

Daniel’s role is to identify staff learning needs and strategically design, deliver and evaluate development interventions related to the effective use of current and emerging Technology Enhanced Learning tools in Higher Education. Working to the Learning & Teaching Development annual objectives and the TEL quality framework, he pro-actively supports and develops staff in their use of technology to enhance the student learning experience. Daniel is also the lead for the teams iPad Project.
