Teaching with Moodle MOOC

Since I am relatively new to using Moodle from a staff perspective (I have previously used it as a student) I’ve decided to take part in the Teaching with Moodle MOOC that has started today. The course is running on a platform called Learn Moodle, which is Moodle’s official website for delivering MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).

The MOOC is running until the 4th September and would be ideal for any staff who are new to teaching with Moodle. The course would also be useful as a refresher for those who want to brush up on their Moodle skills and perhaps learn something new for the upcoming academic year. It may also prove useful to experience a Moodle course from a student perspective, to see what is possible and what could be changed in your existing practice. There is also the opportunity to earn some Open Badges for participating in the course and completing the weekly tasks.
