Learn with Lynda: Learning Paths

As we head into the summer we’ll be taking a bit of a break from our monthly ‘Learn with Lynda’ feature, so we thought we’d give you plenty to be getting on with until we return!

Lynda.com has a great feature called Learning Paths, which are work/job-related course pathways intended to prepare users for a specific role, or to update users skills for their current job.

Whether you’re looking to transform your current career path, jump into a new career, or sharpen your skills in your current job, Lynda.com can be your guide.

Each Learning Path includes a sequence of courses with quizzes, practice sections, reminders and accolades to encourage you as you progress. When you finish a Learning Path, you receive a certificate of completion that you can share with your network on LinkedIn and other social sites. You can also add the course and new skills to your LinkedIn profile.

Here are a few examples of Learning Paths, you can view more at https://www.lynda.com/learning-paths

If none of that takes your fancy then you can keep up to date with new courses via RSS, email, Twitter or Facebook: https://www.lynda.com/newcourses.aspx

Finally, ILS have a brand new Lynda.com webpage, with featured/recommended playlists and ideas and suggestions for learning, teaching and developing yourself with Lynda.com: https://www.yorksj.ac.uk/ils/lynda/

Have you completed, or are you following a Learning Path? What will you be learning over the summer? What has been your favourite course in 16/17?
