Louis Vuitton is the luxury brand since over an 150 years, which started with the idea of designing bags, clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewellery making it one of the most valuable luxury brands in the world (Vogue, June 2012). He first started making the bags in the year 1858. He invented/ designed the new different types of bags over a years and changing it every year. Now lets talk about today, the French trunk-maker has dropped a new collection as part of its horizon range, designed by Marc Newson, which features an outer shell of “thermo-formed 3D knit with a double-sided jacquard”(Vogue, 2019).
The luggage has been tested over a period of years by Newson, the influential industrial designer known for his super-slick creations. Newson say” if I do say so myself, it’s the best travel luggage I’ve used functionally, largely because I spent most of my life suffering with the usual stuff. That gave me a lifetime to study how it could be improved, and how to eliminate my bugbears.”(Vogue, 2019).

A leather-printed LV logo in reassuringly luxurious shades of tobacco is a familiar sight at airports around the world but if a slew of recent celebrity airport exits is anything to go by, there a new cult Louis Vuitton wheelie to which you should adjust your style antennae- and its knitted. Cate Blanchett, Alicia Vikander, Lea Seydoux and Sophie Turner are all fans, helding them through customs paired with largely monochrome outfit combinations along with post-passport control essential which is a gaint paired sunglasses to paper over any signs of jetlag.

Louis Vuitton suitcase are an investment, so it should come as no surprise that the designer also makes an impressive suitcase tracker(Forbes, February,2019), which works at the major airports around the world,(Business Insider, April,2018), so now the traveller will no longer concerned about their designer suitcase luggage will make its way onto the baggage carousel.(CNBC, April, 2018). They released this high-tech product in collaboration with French wireless services company Sigfox via the Louis Vuitton website.(Business Insider, April, 2018).

The Loius Vuitton Echo allows you to keep track of your bags via your smartphone and notifies you if your luggage makes its way to the correct airport.(Forbes, February, 2019), and also informs the travel about its location and whether it was opened during the trip. It works with the LV Pass smartphone app, or by fashion brand’s Tambour Horizon watch (Business Insider, 2018), which automatically switches itself to airplane mode while flying.(CNBC, April,2018).
The Echo was designed for the LV Horizon 50, 55 and 70 ranges of suitcase which starts from $2800(Cabin Bag) and $4650(customized larger case). This device can be clipped into the pocket of the bags, or used with the regular luggage. (CNBC, April,2018).
