Since the 11th of October I have been visiting an ancient hollow Oak tree, Mr Quercus, every week and a great love story and heartfelt connection has unfurled. As our bond deepened I have used still imagery and film to portray how I have slowly felt myself becoming more Oak in mind, body and spirit as I explored autobiographical, ecologically, and political elements through my creative process. I have recorded a 5-minute guided relaxation at the beginning of the performance to invite people to slow down and experience Oak time in preparation for the pace of the film.
